Currently employed full-time as a security engineer, and love the field.   As an old guy from the Midwest USA, I discovered computers late in life ultimately making my primary job market competitor the constant flow of recent college grads.

Both the red and blue sides of cybersecurity are rapidly growing and can be overwhelming.  Attempting to select a difficult yet achievable goal, I chose to chase the OSCP certification.

Sleep is absolutely critical for brain health and successfully learning new subject matter.  Intentionally restricting sleep duration is not recommended and can be incredibly dangerous.
